A Basel Family Feature
One of the things I love about working in Basel is getting to use our beautiful city as a backdrop. Basel is the second star in my photos, right behind the families I shoot! So when Jeremy proposed we shoot in his backyard, I was willing to take a look…but was really hoping my previous work would convince him that Basel was where it’s at. And then I saw the backyard. A beautiful oasis in suburban Basel was far to tempting to pass up so we gave it a shot….so to speak!
The apartments back on to these beautiful grounds are privately owned and access is only permitted to those who live there. It’s serious secret garden stuff, guys! We spent the hour using every corner possible to create a very special gallery for this gorgeous family. And although different from most of my work, you will see the most important thing that I capture is still present, the love and connection this family has with each other.
It was the perfect way to wind down a busy weekend for all of us. Taking advantage of one of the many flawless Autumn afternoons we’ve been so lucky to have this year.
It’s not to late to book your family session for this year! I still have weekday evenings available for the during November. A session typically begins around 1530 to take advantage of the best light of the day; and not too late for families with small kiddos in tow too!
