A Basel Family Feature
It is always exciting to shoot in new locations around Basel. While I love Basel and her old city streets, there are many more hidden gems that make suburb backdrops in this city. So when Lauren suggested a session amongst the old industrial hardware of Klybeck, I was only too happy to oblige!
Klybeck is located just north of the Dreirosenbrüke, opposite the main Novartis campus. There are remnants of the old port and unspoilt views along the Rhine. It has a distinct hipster feel and is home to plenty of places to stop for a cocktail and soak up some sun.
This location was so creatively inspring! The gritty old infrastructure was the perfect juxtaposition for a fun family photo session. We braved some of the first sweltering summer temps as we knocked out their family session. We climbed under, over and beside the old crane that sits on the Rhine and then relaxed a little by blowing dandelions into the breeze. Simply added more reasons to why I love calling Basel home.
It just further proves there is the perfect location for you and your family’s photo session right here in Basel. If the old city streets is not your thing, no problem! I’m no one trick pony!! Your session does not need to be a cookie cutter session of previous shoots. I love to change things up to ensure you have the session of your dreams. All you have to do is ask!
I cannot wait to deliver the printed album to this family! My sessions always include a tangible printed product for the family. Therefore I have one simple fee of CHF 750 that includes the sitting fee, and album and at least 75 digital images. The digital images come with a full print release and you are welcome to share them online and with family near and far. You can read more about my family sessions right here!
