Winter Wonderland – A Basel Family Feature
Winter has well and truly descended upon us this month! With lots of grey skies and freezing rain, you’re probably thinking that now is not the ideal time to take photos. Not true! When the skies are clear and the sun is out, Winter basks us in some fo the prettiest light! For family photographs, this can result in some pretty magical images.
Cherie and Eryanto’s gorgeous family have moved recently, and we were super lucky with a stunner of a day to shoot! Because the sun rises so late at the moment, we were able to meet at the reasonable hour of 0900. With four kids to get ready, it was a saving grace in itself. Braving the cold, Cherie and Eryanto’s children were superstars about the whole thing too! As a result we were able to whip around our locations in record speed. With plenty of jackets on and jackets off as we went. Did I mention it was a balmy three degrees?
As we are sad to loose another terrific family from our expat community, I know Cherie, Eryanto and their amazing kiddos are moving into their next chapter with smiles, laughter and a whole lotta love. Three attributes that are essential in any expat journey.
I feel so lucky to do this as my job. It is an honour for me to capture these memories of your families in Basel. My hope is that you will always be able to look back on your photographs taken here in Basel with nothing but pure happiness for years to come.
